The Parish Nurse Ministry
The role of the Parish Nurse is to assist people in matters related to health concerns. The Parish Nurse is available to answer questions or make referrals. Hands-on nursing care is not available. The Parish Nurse cares for people modeled after Christ's healing ministry which takes into consideration a person's physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Information about PA's CHIP ( Children's Health Insurance Program) is available thru the Parish Nurse's office. Parish Nurse is available Monday thru Friday at (610) 352-7008.
Her office is located at Anna's Place - 248 Long Lane, Upper Darby
Two support groups that meet at Anna's Place, offered by the Parish Nurse Ministry are: The Women's Group which meets at 10 AM on Wednesdays, if for women of all ages. it focuses on issues and concerns for the today's woman. The second group is Crafty Sisters Knitting Group , women who enjoy handcrafts. They meet Thursdays at 9 AM . This grou makes the wonderfully comforting Prayer Shawls which are given to the chronically ill for comfort and support.

The Lunch & Lecture Series is a special health info program offered by the Parish Nurse and Lankenau Hospital. Held the last Friday of each month (Sept. thru May), the series is free and offers an information session with a health care professional. Check The Church-A-Gram page for topics and dates.
Music at Christ Church
The Adult Choir sings at 10:30 AM Worship Service on Sundays. New Members are always welcomed. Rehearsals are held Sundays at 11:45 AM and Thursday evenings at 6:45 PM. The Director is Antoine Watts.
The CLC Youth Choir sings at the 10:30 AM service the last Sunday of each month. Rehearsals are held Saturday mornings at 10 AM. New Members are always wlecome.
