Adult Bible Study

Bible Study for adults is offered each Sunday at 9 AM, the Sunday School period. Bible Study is held in the Ritter Room located on the first floor. Bring your own Bible or one will be provided for you.

Check the Monthly Newsletter Page for announcements of special Bible Study series offered throughout the year, usually on a weekday evening at 7 PM.

Women's Support Group

A support group for women is offered each Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM thru the Parish Nurse Ministry. The group discusses matters of mutual concern, share experiences, pray, and enjoy time spent together. The group is open to women of all ages. For more information contact the Parish Nurse at 610-352-7008. This group meets at Anna's Place, 248 Long Lane, Upper Darby.

Crafty Sisters

A fellowship group that invites all who knit, crochet, needlepoint or do other handwork to join them on Thursdays from 9:00am to 10:30am at Christ Lutheran Church. Bring your project, share your knowledge, learn a new craft, and enjoy the fellowship! Call Penny Bouma at 610-352-7008 to participate. This group meets at Anna's Place, 248 Long Lane, Upper Darby.

The Caravaners

The CLC Caravaners is a group of people who enjoy traveling together. Trips to dinner theaters, sightseeing destinations, shopping areas are planned throughout the year. The CLC Language Institute

In an attempt to meet the needs of people who want to learn English , the CLC Language Institute was established in September of 2003. The Institute will have sessions throughout the year, with terms of ten weeks, and classes each week for Beginner and Intermediate Level Students. The Winter session will begin Dec. 8 at 12:30 P . Registration brochures are available on the bulletin board in the Narthex or call the Outreach Corp. at 610-352-2374

Classes are held at Anna's Place - 248 Long Lane, Upper Darby on Monday & Wednesday at 12:30 P to 2:30 P

I-LEAD

A collaborative effort between the Upper Darby Community Outreach Corporation and The Institute for Leadership Education, Advancement and Development has resulted in a "College Without Walls in Upper Darby". an accelerated Associates Degree in Leadership is offered. Assistance with resources for grants, scholarships and low-interest college loans is provided. College Credit is given for military service, work skills and life experience. Rolling, open enrollment.
